The Chapmans are veteran missionaries and have been faithfully serving the Lord in the “Northern Territory” (also known as the “Top End”) of Australia for about 13 years in a place called Darwin.
They are currently working out of Territory Baptist Church that was established in 2006. Ken and Cyndi have 3 children; Joy, Caleb, and Faith.
Ministry Updates Territory Baptist Church………Bro. Chapman reports that God has given them a good group of people to work with as they recently had a high attendance of 50. Please continue to pray for their outreach efforts to see souls saved.
Urapunga………..The ministry in Urapunga, a small aboriginal community, is going really well. They continue to have special meetings for Bible study and singing.
Family News………Bro. Chapman says that they recently received the results of Cyndi’s cancer testing/screening. Praise the Lord she is still cancer free. Cyndi’s specialist has recommended that she be tested on a yearly basis as she is a high risk.
The testing is very exhausting as Cyndi was unable to attend church for 3 weeks following the tests. Please pray also for the Chapmans’ daughter Joy as she continues to struggle with type- one diabetes.
School Camp………Bro. Chapman recently spoke at Sherwood Hills Christian School Camp. Pray for the young people there as they were challenged to live for God.
The Justin Stanley Family………..Pray for the Stanleys as they work with the Chapmans for the next year. They will be taking over the work while the Chapmans’ return home for a brief but much needed furlough.
Pray for the Chapman family as they return to the States beginning this Spring. Brother Chapman will be returning with Caleb in May, and Cyndi, Joy, and Faith will return in July.
And finally, please continue to pray for Christians to be encouraged and for souls to be saved as a result of the Chapmans, ministry. The Chapmans are thankful for the opportunity to be our representatives in Australia.
