The Morrow “duo” has been serving the Lord in Dolores, Peten, Guatemala for almost 8 years now, and they continue to be totally surrendered to the Lord and His will. Paul and Barbara are both in their early seventies, and describe themselves by saying: “We are Paul and Barbara Morrow. We have never claimed “abilities”, but we have made ourselves “available” to the Lord. We are sure that there are others who can do the job better and do more of it. We will remain here until they arrive!”
Brother Morrow reports they have been averaging between 35 and 40 people on Sundays and says that the Word of God is being preached with regularity. Bro. Morrow also says that they continue learning to be patient while the Truth of God’s Word works in the hearts of those who hear it. Pray for more visitors and pray for those who have heard the Gospel to surrender to His will.
The last time we heard about the Morrows ministry (September, 2010), Bro. Morrow had asked for prayer concerning Juan Carlos, the man they are renting their house from. Since that time, Juan Carlos has not only been saved, but he has also married. Pray for spiritual growth for Juan Carlos and his new bride, Marlyn, who was also recently saved. Please pray also, for Juan Carlos’ mother concerning salvation.
Bro. Morrow also reports that they have been asked by a ministry named “Missionary Air Group” to help find land to put a small landing strip in the mountains east of them. The area they are looking at is where most of the mountain villages are located, and Bro. Morrow says they have passed out literature in all of them. Pray for God’s guidance in this endeavor and for the possibility of starting a new work in the mountains .
A praise item concerns renovations and repairs that were recently completed on the Morrows living quarters. Bro. Morrow is thankful for the prayers and financial assistance they have received.
And finally, please continue to pray for the Morrows health, for Christians to be strengthened and for souls to be saved. Paul and Barbara are thankful for the support they receive from OBC and say with God’s help, they will remain our servants for the Lord.
